Spring arrived……isn’t that great. Along with Spring cleaning, we are into spring renovating; power washing driveways and sidewalks, painting the trim and all the exterior doors on our house, fixing the deck and installing all new windows in the house….just got sick of the metal (circa 1992) windows that sweat and get moldy --- bring on that vinyl. The list did seem endless at the beginning but we are steadily working our way through it. We are into the same renovation mode on our revenue property in Fairfield… total exterior repaint. We did get away to Osoyoos for four days at the end of April. The weather was for the most part sunny if a little cool and breezy, but we had an great relaxing time. Visited many wineries, enjoyed lunches out and dinners in. Funny how a short get-a-way can feel a lot longer. Came back refreshed and rarin’ to go. Now that the warmer weather is here, we have managed a few short (1-2 hour) motorcycle rides – up the Malahat, out the Penninsula or out to Sooke. Just long enough to blow out the cob webs. Still working like crazy, even after midnight a couple of times which reminds me of my early days in real estate. Working a sale late into the night was common in the mid 80’s and early 90’s, but not so common now. We are running away to San Francisco for a week in June….using up some frequent flyer points that will disappear if we don’t ‘spend’ them. We plan to rent a car for a couple of days and drive down the coast. Alan has never done that. We will visit Monteray, San Simeon and Paso Robles. Should be fun….hope it’s warm. You never know with San Francisco Life is short….enjoy it!!! Bonnie
